Priory Law has been shortlisted in four categories at the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards 2026: Best Workplace Award, Mental Health & Wellbeing Award, Managing Partner of the Year and Female Trailblazer of the Year. The last two recognise our Managing Director, Anne-Marie Fowler.
We are incredibly proud of all four. Two celebrate our team and two celebrate Anne-Marie’s leadership, but to us they tell one story: the culture a leader helps build, and the people who bring it to life every day.
Behind every one of these shortlist places are people who support one another, share what they know and care about how it feels to work here. This is a moment to celebrate them.
The people behind our wellbeing shortlist
The Mental Health & Wellbeing shortlist feels particularly special because so much of that work happens quietly.
Amy Goodman, Kayleigh Golawska and Lucy Wyatt form our Wellbeing Team, and all three are trained Mental Health First Aiders. Sadie Pullin also supports the team with activities and events whilst Lucy Wyatt is on maternity leave.
They help create space for people to talk, ask for help and look after one another. Their work sits alongside the support built into how we run the business: a private route to wellbeing support, managed caseloads, flexible working and our buddy system.
Our approach to wellbeing is built into everyday working life. Often it is the small things: someone making time to listen, a colleague noticing when another needs support, or a short break to pause and reconnect. Thank you to everyone who makes that possible.
A workplace shaped by the whole team
Our Best Workplace Award shortlist belongs to everyone at Priory Law.
A workplace is shaped by the way people treat one another. The welcome a new colleague receives. The patience someone shows when teaching a new skill. The freedom to ask a question, contribute an idea or say when something is difficult.
Our workplace culture grows through those moments, alongside opportunities to develop and working arrangements that recognise life outside the office. Everyone contributes something to it, and this shortlist is our chance to thank the team for the warmth, openness and commitment they bring.
Why this matters to our professional partners
More than 25 professional partners across the South East regularly recommend Priory Law. Estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professionals trust us with clients who may be making one of the biggest decisions of their lives. We understand the responsibility that comes with that recommendation.
These shortlist places recognise some of the foundations behind our service: supported people, thoughtful leadership and a culture where colleagues can ask for help. Our approach to managed caseloads is part of the same commitment, giving our team time to consider the detail, communicate clearly and keep clients informed.
For our partners, the link is simple. The way we look after our people helps them look after yours.
Celebrating Anne-Marie’s leadership
Anne-Marie Fowler, Managing Director of Priory Law, has been shortlisted for both Managing Partner of the Year and Female Trailblazer of the Year.
We are proud to see her recognised for building a business where people can progress, including through non-traditional routes into conveyancing and working patterns that fit around family responsibilities. Several colleagues had worked with Anne-Marie before and chose to work with her again, bringing a shared foundation of trust and a belief in what they could build together.
Her contribution also reaches beyond Priory Law. At the Modern Law Conveyancing Conference 2026, Anne-Marie spoke on the technology stage about AI, risk and professional judgement. Sharing experience, asking questions and listening to other perspectives are all part of how she helps move the conversation forward.
“I am absolutely over the moon. Every one of these shortlist places belongs to our team. It is their hard work, their care for our clients and the way they look after each other that has made this possible. I could not be prouder of them all.”

Celebrating the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards 2026 finalists
Congratulations to every firm and individual on this year’s shortlist. It is a privilege to be recognised alongside so many people and businesses doing excellent work across the profession.
There is a huge amount we can learn from one another. Advancing conveyancing cannot be the work of one firm. When we share ideas, challenge established thinking and learn from each other, the benefits reach everyone involved in a move, particularly the people buying and selling homes.
Thank you to LEAP, Charlton Grant and the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards team for bringing the profession together, and for creating an occasion to pause, recognise good work and share ideas.
Four reasons to celebrate. Every reason to keep improving.
Of course we would love to win. Taking home an award would be a wonderful moment for our team, who put so much into Priory Law every single day.
But being shortlisted already gives us plenty to be proud of. We are looking forward to cheering on our fellow finalists in Liverpool on 19 November, and to everything we can learn together.
Thank you to everyone who has helped build the Priory Law we know today. We look forward to bringing that same care, energy and openness to what comes next.
Buying, selling, remortgaging, transferring equity or extending your lease? Our award-shortlisted team would love to help. Start a conversation with us.
