At Priory Law, our values are not just principles we talk about, they guide how we work, how we support one another, and how we care for our clients. In 2025, we introduced a new internal award to recognise individuals whose contribution goes beyond their role and has a lasting impact on both our people and our service.
We are proud to share that the inaugural Special Recognition Award for 2025 has been awarded to Amy Goodman, Head of Client Services.
Reflecting on the award, Managing Director Anne-Marie Fowler said:
“Amy’s contribution to Priory Law goes far beyond her role. She brings clarity, care and consistency to everything she does, and her work has strengthened both our team and the experience we deliver to our clients. This award was created to recognise exactly this kind of impact, and Amy is a truly deserving first recipient.”
This recognition reflects not just what Amy does, but how she does it, with care, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to supporting both clients and colleagues.
A role at the heart of client and team experience
As Head of Client Services, Amy plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of Priory Law’s conveyancing practice. She works closely with all the team ensuring that files are managed with accuracy, attention to detail and clear communication.
Her role is both operational and people-focused. Amy is a calm presence behind the scenes, supporting the team through complex matters and ensuring that high standards are maintained across the business.
Creating strong foundations for new team members
Over the past year, Amy has led significant improvements to how Priory Law supports both new colleagues and new clients.
She designed and implemented a comprehensive team onboarding framework, giving new joiners clarity from day one. This structured resource sets out how we work, how we communicate, the standards we uphold, and what excellent client care looks like in practice. By creating clarity at the outset, Amy has helped new team members feel confident, supported, and aligned with Priory Law’s approach from the very beginning.
Alongside this, Amy also played a key role in implementing our new client onboarding system, improving transparency and communication at the start of every matter. This ensures clients feel informed, reassured, and supported from the moment they instruct us, setting the tone for the rest of their conveyancing journey.
Living Priory Law’s values in practice
Amy’s contribution reflects Priory Law’s core values in action.
Her commitment to transparency ensures that both clients and colleagues understand what is happening, when, and why – reducing uncertainty and building trust. Her genuine care for the team is evident in the way she supports individuals, particularly during complex or high-pressure situations. She leads with empathy, patience, and approachability, creating an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills. Her approach to innovation is thoughtful and purposeful. Systems and processes are introduced to improve clarity, consistency, and client experience, never for the sake of change alone. And her passion for doing things properly, with diligence, pride, and professionalism, sets a standard that others naturally follow.
The impact on new joiners
One of the clearest measures of Amy’s impact is the experience of those joining Priory Law. Her onboarding framework and ongoing support have made a tangible difference to how new team members settle into their roles.
“Amy made me feel welcome and comfortable from day one. She is always guiding me and taking the time to make sure I feel confident with every task. Her kindness and patience have made such a difference.”
Olivia Englishby, Conveyancing Assistant
“Amy made me feel at ease straight away when I joined. She is calm, patient and always there to help if needed without judgement. Her training within the new role has been excellent and has given me the ability to complete new tasks confidently. She’s a Priory Law treasure and every company needs an Amy!”
Sadie Pullin, Conveyancing Assistant
These reflections capture the quiet but powerful influence Amy has on the people around her, and, by extension, on the service our clients receive.
A well-deserved recognition
The introduction of the Special Recognition Award in 2025 reflects Priory Law’s commitment to celebrating the people who quietly raise standards and make a meaningful difference every day.
Amy’s leadership, care and dedication have shaped how we welcome new colleagues, how we support our clients, and how we live our values in practice. We are incredibly grateful for her contribution, and proud to recognise it through this award.
