Priory Law Renewed Hope fundraising challenge begins this May, as our team takes on the “Plank a Day in May” challenge to raise funds for Renewed Hope, a local charity supporting people facing homelessness, hardship and isolation across East Surrey.
It’s a simple idea. Each day, we’ll complete a plank, building time and consistency as the month progresses. Manageable at the start… we suspect less so by the end, but we will keep going. But like most things, it’s not really about the plank. It’s about showing up each day, putting in the effort, and doing it together as a team, even after a full working day.
Renewed Hope provides practical, day-to-day support to people who need it most, alongside longer-term guidance to help individuals rebuild their lives. Their work makes a real difference in the local community, and we’re proud to be supporting them. You can find out more about what they do here:

Preparing for the Challenge

To help us get started (and make sure we’re doing this properly), we’re working with Jermayne Williams, founder of BODYTONE, who is leading a training session for the team. Jermayne’s approach is refreshingly realistic. It focuses on building strength, confidence and control in a way that fits around everyday life, not taking it over. A focus on consistency over intensity means the training is manageable, sustainable and something people can realistically stick to.
That approach resonated with us straight away. It reflects how we work as a firm, structured, consistent and focused on doing things properly over time. You can find out more about BODYTONE here: https://www.bodytonebyjermayne.com/
Priory Law - Renewed Hope Support in East Surrey
Renewed Hope plays a vital role within the local community. Through services such as their Drop-In in Redhill, they provide a welcoming space where people can access a hot meal, practical support and someone to talk to. It’s easy to take having a home for granted. Their work is a reminder of how important stability, support and community really are.
Anne-Marie Fowler, Managing Director at Priory Law, commented:
“We are really looking forward to taking part in this challenge as a team and supporting the work Renewed Hope does within our local community. It’s a simple idea, but one that brings people together and allows us to contribute in a meaningful way.”
The Priory Law Renewed Hope challenge is also a reminder of why local support matters. As a conveyancing firm, we understand how important home, stability and security are. Renewed Hope’s work highlights that not everyone has access to those basics, and that practical community support can make a meaningful difference. By taking part in Plank a Day in May, we hope to raise awareness of the charity’s work, encourage donations and support the people across East Surrey who rely on Renewed Hope’s services.
